What services do you offer?

We offer comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, pediatric eye care, treatment for eye diseases and urgent eye conditions, pre and post-op care for eye surgery, and vision therapy.

How often should I get an eye exam?

In general, adults and children should have an eye exam once a year. Children and people with certain health conditions may need more frequent eye exams.

Do you accept new patients?

Yes! We welcome new patients of all ages. Call us or book online to schedule your first visit.

What should I bring to my eye exam?

Please bring your current glasses or contacts, a list of medications, and your insurance information.

Can I bring in my own frames for new lenses?

Yes, we’re happy to fit new lenses into your existing frames, depending on their condition and compatibility.

What if I already have a valid prescription for contacts or glasses?

If you already have a valid/current prescription, you can bring a copy of that with you! We take outside prescriptions and are happy to help you find the right glasses that fit your needs.

How long does it take to get my glasses?

Most glasses are ready within 10–14 business days. We’ll notify you as soon as they’re ready for pickup.

Does my insurance cover routine eye exams? Is my insurance accepted here?

We always recommend contacting your insurance provider to find out specifics on your plan’s routine vision benefits. We are currently a participating provider with the following plans:

  • Medicare

  • Medicaid (Health First CO)

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (Anthem)

  • Cigna

  • CHP+ (CO Access)

We are an open access (out-of-network) provider for all other vision plans including VSP, Spectera, EyeMed, and more. This means we can submit your claim as an out-of-network provider so you can get reimbursed directly.

If I don't have insurance, can I still get an eye exam?

Yes, if you do not have insurance or your insurance will not contribute to your annual exam, Firestone Family Eye Care will give you a discount of 25% for payment made on the same day as the annual exam.

How long will it take to find out what insurance has covered?

Most claims are processed by insurance companies in 4 to 6 weeks.

Can I order contacts through your office?

Yes! You can order your contacts directly through us in person or over the phone for convenience and competitive pricing.

Do you offer contact lens fittings?

Yes, we specialize in contact lens fittings for all types of lenses, including specialty and multifocal options.

Do you treat eye infections and injuries?

Yes, we provide urgent eye care for infections, injuries, red eye, and more.
